Keystone Tot Lot Temporarily Closed, But Getting Better!

December 13, 2016 - May 2017

The Keystone Tot Lot is closed for renovations and will reopen no later than May 2017. The city is installing a new, softer play surface. Because the ground under the current equipment is sinking, we have also undertaken soil testing. Over the last few weeks, Terracon Consulting was hired to determine the reasons for the sinking. Next, we will take steps to compact the soil and install the new surface, known as 'Playground Turf.' It's a soft, durable, grass-like surface that doesn't need to be cut or watered. The overall cost of the project is approximately $100,000.

Thanks for your patience as we work to bring you a new and improved Keystone Tot Lot!
